Thank you for participating! This edition of the Evening Market has concluded.

Ward’s Lake evening market takes inspiration from famous open-air nighttime bazaars of Asia, where people come together to eat, drink, socialize, and be entertained. Meghalaya is a state that deeply believes in community and so the evening markets will help foster the connections that we often lose in regular trade and commerce. Also, heaps of fun as the evening market is very family friendly.

Food and Beverages

“One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.” – Virginia Woolf.
Food is an important component of the evening market. To make sure our guests thoroughly enjoy all that Meghalaya has to offer, food stalls serving local cuisine have been set-up all over the venue. To wash down all that food, the guests can take a stroll over to the brews and beverages stalls where they can partake of the best homemade brews. The vendors are also set up on a rotational basis so guests are guaranteed a variety. What you get today may not be there tomorrow so hurry, hurry, hurry!

Shopping

Meghalaya has a plethora of talented locals. Most of them are engaged in the art of traditional hand looming and craft making. The evening market will play host to these artisans and luckily, you will have the privilege of purchasing and owning handmade and handcrafted items. So, take a walk around the stalls and if something catches your attention, get it! These stalls are on a rotational basis and the vendors change from week to week. No buyer’s remorse and you get the authentic Meghalaya experience.
